Your challenge

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a critical member of the business development team and the position is a first step on the path to a highly successful commercial career at Dealsuite. This is a ground-floor opportunity in which you will gain experience in different commercial fields. You will be the first point of contact for Dealsuite’s prospects in DACH & CEE; you will identify and qualify prospects and proactively reach out to them. Once you are in touch with the prospect, it will be your job to understand the prospect's needs and to start the sales process by booking a demo or offering a free trial.

Client Success: Would you like to gain extensive insights into the world of M&A, build your individual business network and become part of Europe's leading M&A fintech company Dealsuite? Do you enjoy talking to clients and going the extra mile to make them satisfied? Then we welcome you to apply for this role where you will function as Client Success Manager (CSM).

As the number of clients continues to grow and expand, we are looking for energetic and sociable colleagues for our Client Success Team. As the point of contact between the company and its users, you will accompany our clients throughout the entire customer journey. Your mission is to establish contacts, build client relationships and ensure an active and satisfied client base. If you flourish in this role, you will have no problem building up your own customer portfolio and becoming a relevant partner for our customers.

Who are you?

  • Minimum of 3 -12 months in a sales/client facing (virtual) role. This can be also as part of a student job or during an internship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Flawless German (written and spoken); fluent in English.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn.
  • Experience in M&A and Corporate Finance and/or in Sales / Client Success is an advantage
  • Ambitious for a career in sales and/or Client Success and driven by goals and personal development.
  • Degree in economics, business or sales

Key responsibilities

Junior Business Development Representative:

  • First point of contact for prospects, follow up and qualify incoming leads through the website, phone, or email.
  • Proactively reach out to prospects that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Book appointments for the business development managers and prepare meetings for important prospects by drawing up insights into their situation and needs.
  • Become an expert on our platform and learn about our market, customers, and company so you are ready for the next step in 12 months.
  • Work closely together with our marketing team to generate a consistent and high flow of leads.
  • Support in organisation and invite process of on-site networking-events.

Client Success Manager:

  • Conduct regular client meetings & calls (exchange experiences, establish proactive connections and conduct negotiation talks).
  • In doing so, build a basis of trust with our clients - M&A is a business of trust
  • Validate company profiles and activate them for our network
  • Familiarise clients with our tool & help them use it effectively (live demo)
  • Publish client successes in the form of articles
  • Help shape the processes of the Client Success department further and contribute to vision-building
