Dealsuite is a fast-growing fintech scale up based in Amsterdam. We operate the largest M&A dealmaking platform in Europe. Over 1400 firms in 50 countries already declared Dealsuite as their sourcing tool of choice, including the top 10 of M&A Advisory firms, Private Equity firms and Corporate M&A Teams. In our quest to revolutionise the M&A market in Europe, we are now growing our DACH sales operations.

Your challenge

The business development representative is a critical member of the business development team and the position is a first step on the path to a highly successful commercial career at Dealsuite. This is a ground-floor opportunity in which you will gain experience in different commercial fields. You will be the first point of contact for Dealsuite’s prospects in DACH; you will identify and qualify prospects and proactively reach out to them. Once you are in touch with the prospect, it will be your job to understand the prospect's needs and to start the sales process by booking a demo or offering a free trial. You will also be involved in activating prospects and clients to stimulate them to share propositions.

Who are you?

  • 6-12 months in a sales/client role. This can be a student job or internship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Flawless German (written and spoken).
  • Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn.
  • Interest in M&A and corporate finance.
  • Ambitious for a career in sales and driven by goals and personal development.

Key responsibilities

  • First point of contact for prospects, follow up and qualify incoming leads through the website, phone, or email.
  • Proactively reach out to prospects that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Book appointments for the business development managers and prepare meetings for important prospects by drawing up insights into their situation and needs.
  • Become an expert on our platform and learn about our market, customers, and company so you are ready for the next step in 6-12 months.
  • Work closely together with our marketing team to generate a consistent and high flow of leads.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the latest trends in corporate finance and M&A.
