MKB Fonds

Founded in 2011, MKB Fonds has emerged as a leading independent private equity firm in the Netherlands with a long-standing track record of successful investments in Dutch SMEs.

MKB Fonds focuses primarily on investing in robust and mature SMEs operating within the wholesale and B2B business services sectors. The MKB Fonds team works closely with the entrepreneurs of its portfolio companies, providing support for phased business succession, facilitating professionalisation, and fostering sustainable growth.

As of April 2024, MKB Fonds has established six closed funds, three of which have been successfully concluded. These funds have been financed through the issuance of MKB Bonds and MKB Shares to individual investors, accumulating a total raised capital of €100 million. Moreover, as of April 2024, MKB Fonds has completed over 95 transactions and manages 17 portfolio companies spread across its funds. Collectively, these portfolio companies generated approximately €425 million in revenue in 2023 and employ over 1000 individuals domestically and internationally.
